This Game is Broken. Maybe I can help fix it.

First of all, I would like to state that I am a passive lurker throughout these forums and of underrated streamers. After this showdown that has just occurred, I find it essential for somebody to unite all ideas that will help us further the competitive scene for H1Z1. I have seen many games pass that could've clearly been played competitively, however due to the lack of the community wanting to help push for greatness they have failed hastily. It may not be the same in this case as H1Z1 already has a foundation of Battle Royale Players, Survival players, and/or maybe even both, however I do believe that pushing forth the competitive scene that can be envisioned is needed and wanted by many community members. After watching the showdown, I tuned into Sweaterr's stream and basically was able to understand the desire of these player's to take this game to the next level. Hopefully I can incorporate every single idea that will allow for this possibility to be true.

First and foremost, allow the streamers who received a server to keep them. I feel that if a streamer is able to incorporate a large mass, this will continue to allow growth in the bases of these streamer's communities. Twitch.tv allows streamers to play a game and have a [potential] large crowd watch and follow them, therefore promoting the game even further than the extent to which it is already being promoted. For example: People will see a streamer, like CDNthe3rd, playing game modes such as "NFAA Vs. 6 Looted", in turn, people will join in on the fun and those who do not currently have the game will have a reason to buy it and join in on the fun. Now, for the competitive scene, I believe that Reddit's team/community manager (as far as I know); PhazePyre, will be able to open up his server to [mostly] everybody and be able to host weekly tournaments, or monthly, what ever they desire. This will allow for the community to have a glimpse of what the true competitive scene is like, it'll allow the community (the competitive ones) to partake in something that they enjoy; H1Z1 and being Competitive. The difference between what I am saying and your average Battle Royale would be that: 1. No leagues are specified nor existent 2. The community managers (server owners) will not have any power over those who are cheating and not abiding by the rules, in turn they will be banned from the server and further investigated by DayBreak. 3. We saw a large crowd of fierce and well-skilled players partake in the Showdown. These players should have a further motive to continue playing this game and able to expand as players by playing players on a higher tier.

Second, we really need for the Daybreak developers to fix these bugs. I know that you guys (if you read this) are already working on them, however despite it being in Alpha mode, crashes are a severe pain to deal with. We saw many people crash in the showdown tournament (OPscT for example; crashed twice in just a span of 4 games.) We shouldn't have to restart our game, verify the integrity of our game, and still be curious whether we'll make it in or not. Furthermore, roof glitching is something I know you guys are aware of, however i'm not sure of your stance on it. If a player is not physically able to make it on the roof, they should not be allowed up there. Such as, if there were a ladder to go to the roof, that's fine, or even a pair of stairs. However having to use a glitch with the door to be put up there should be a no-go. Another bug that is well known is the molotov staying on a person. I believe that you guys submitted a patch that would fix this, however in most cases, players are required to run through another molotov to remove the fire from themselves. This is bad for the following reasons: This is a time maneuvering game, people need time to loot and time to make it to the safe zone, they cannot be hassling around for any such moments wasting time by attempting to "extinguish" themselves. In addition to this, this takes away from not being seen by other players. In the cases that you do not fix this bug (ie., the players extinguishing themselves) they are basically mobile targets with a large arrow above their head announcing where they are. Another bug would include the car disappearing. Sometimes when I (any many others obviously) are running towards a car, it would just disappear when I usually get close to it. This clearly doesn't happen in most cases, however 90% of the time I went to go and loot the car south of Cranberry, It disappeared on me. A car is an essential factor in this game, It can determine the factor of you being in the gas, left on foot to fight in an open area, or be able to dash past everything and make it to your location. I can continue to list bugs, however you guys already have a website dedicated to this kind of stuff. I just really hope, along with many other players, that these issues are resolved prior to introducing the community to new "skins" and such. Bugs should be the primary priority. - For those wondering, the bugs are located here: https://dgcissuetracker.com/secure/Dashboard.jspa?selectPageId=11004
