Excellent area if you're buying a home. Do not rent one of the duplex apartments in converted houses. (Slumlords). My entire ceiling collapsed one day and I moved out. Landlord never even gave my security deposit back.

The other 4 duplex apartments I have seen where friends lived were also just as disgusting. They aren't safe. Do not rent from the house on Carter/Brandon corner. I stayed there 2 months out of 9 because it was a shit hole and I couldn't even shower there. The sinks didn't work. And then the entire ceiling collapsed. This is what you will run into. And the winch never even gave my security deposit back. I had to move back in with my parents because it was unlivable. And someone broke in and stole my TV. Good times.
