If you work at a hotel - what made you choose hospitality?

I always wanted to work in hotels, my father was an archaeologist so I spent the majority of my summers camping and viewed hotels as these opulent destinations. I got a degree in hospitality management and discovered it did shit for my work opportunities, so I started out at the bottom as a maid and grinded. Went from housekeeper to getting a gaming license and running an integrated resort in eight years, I don’t know of any other industry that allows that kind of rapid growth through hard work.

I still love the industry and could talk someone’s ear off about the most mundane parts of it. Truly blessed to have my dream as a kid continue to be my dream as an adult.
