Thank you for the reply. I also can't stop thinking that heart charm might be very significant. According to the list made by the police, the charm was found in the glove compartment with a price tag is $119.95. That seems like a rather expensive price for for one heart charm (especially 15 years ago in 1999). If that price was for a charm AND a bracelet it would seem more reasonable to me. There was also an empty gift box in the glove compartment. Does anyone know what size that box was? Was it the appropriate size for a bracelet? Jay claimed in the Intercept interview that he bought Stephanie a bracelet for her birthday that he paid about $80 dollars for. Considering he hadn't bothered to buy Stephanie ANYTHING for her birthday, and had to be reminded by Adnan that he should get her something, I find it surprising that he would buy he an 80.00 bracelet. Also, I am also under the impression that Jay didn't have a lot of money.

I know you talked about the bracelet in one of your blogs and you thought it might be significant. Susan says she doesn't think it is. Personally, I will take the leap and say I believe that bracelet came from Hae's car, but I don't want to post it publicly. That is one of the reasons I would like to know if Mark was in school that morning, since Jay claims they went shopping together. Is there any way of tracing sales transaction from back then? Does anybody know the name of the store where the heart charm was bought? They might have some info about it. A jeweller should at least be able to confirm if that charm would have cost $119 in 1999.

Not sure if knowing these things would really help. There are so many lies in this case, it's hard to know what is relevant.

Sorry this was so long!

Love you Rabia. Thank you for being so inspiring.

PS Speaking of inspiring, you have made this rudderless girl want to explore Islam. I am trying to choose a book to get me started, but the choices are a bit overwhelming. I might order Welcome to Islam by Mustafa Umar. What would you recommend?
