Your item was made by Porzellanfabrik Carl Schneiders Erben--which became V.E.B. Porzellanfiguren Gräfenthal from 1951 until 1972--this is when I think your item was made.

If you read the history of the company they started as Porzellanfabrik Unger, Schneider & Cie., 1859-1885. Then became Porzellanfabrik Schneider & Hutschenreuther, 1885 until 1886; Porzellanfabrik Carl Schneiders Erben, 1886 until 1951; V.E.B. Porzellanfiguren Gräfenthal, 1951 until 1972.

Unfortunately, many of the old molds were remade during the 1950's and 1960's.. I think your item is from this time period judging by the painting and faint impression of the model number and the G mark to the right of the number 6 and whatever mark is to the left of the number 1.
