But you do realize that real teams have died in plane crashes? By saying you have a “dark sense of humor” translates to I laugh at the worst thing that has happened to other people because it hasn’t happened to me. And specifically BECAUSE this is the Internet, there is even more reason NOT to joke like this because you don’t know the strangers who read your comments who may have lost family or friends in tragedies like these. So for your “quick wit” and attempt at getting a chuckle, you also might just rip open old wounds for others. And just because people say over the top/hyperbolic things all the time does not mean that it’s a good thing. It is better to say nothing and look like a fool than to open your mouth and prove it. I guess the reason I don’t make “jokes” about mass death (at least anymore) is that I would rather bring love and joy to the world. But we are all just travelers together in this time and space, this is just one man’s opinion, to reach their own. I hope your journey finds you well.
