You seem to have the right idea. I personally think the future of esports looks more like the UFC or boxing rather than traditional ball leagues; that is putting more emphasis on who/what people want to see rather than strictly the best of the best.

I don’t know exactly what games you plan on showcasing, but I’m well versed in many different games and sports, especially the FGC and VR. I consider myself one of the key testers and collaborators in making one of the most downloaded games on the Meta Quest store, Gym Class (I was one of the first players to upload gameplay videos to YouTube, and helped create a working ruleset).
