MGSO Crashing to Desktop?

No, you're wrong.

It's a collection of mods with a scripted installer. So when you write that MGSO is trash without describing which mods included in MGSO are trash, it's a completely unproductive and erroneous statement.

So, which of the contributing modder's work is trash?

I don't care if you've been modding for 10 years and I have a saved backup of each of Morrowind installs. I'm at number 18.

If you had written that MGSO is outdated and can cause problems with newer mods that require MCP 2.2 or the latest MWSE beta, that would be an example of something useful.

If you had written that you dislike the aesthetics of the texture replacers that were available 4 years ago and that the newer ones are more pleasing to you, that would be useful.

If you had written that it can be difficult to decipher what MGSO installs because of the way the MGSOO directory is labeled, that would be useful.

It chaps my hide when I spend 30 minutes writing out a post to help someone get their game going, and my detailed (and accurate) post with links is downvoted, because someone doesn't like MGSO as a whole, but can't articulate why in a way that is productive.

So, which of the mods in MGSO do you have an issue with? All of them? Well them, clearly MGSO isn't for you. That doesn't help the person trying to figure out why their game is crashing.

The mods that do have issues in MGSO, have those same issues as a standalone download unless they've been updated (MPP 1.6.5 beta BTB edit, Animated Morrowind, etc.).

Since you are likely to update your own mods over the course of 4 or so years, it stands to reason that you would update the mods included in a mod package.

Again, despite your 10 years of modding, I don't think you know what you are talking about and the down vote for trying to walk someone through CTDs, is not appreciated, nor did you add anything productive to the conversation other than immature hubris.
