You can go straight up through Death Valley then. Going North on US190 you will hit Zabriskie Point, use the bathroom at Furnace creek, then go south to Badwater Basin. Go north past Furnace creek and to the Mesquite Sand Dunes. Then go east on US190 and turn north on North Hwy to get to race track playa. Go back the way you came until you see the US374 turnoff and head straight to the ghost town of Rhyolite, NV. After you get done looking at the BIG NAKED PINK WOMAN in Rhyolite, the town of Beatty, Nevada has a gas station/candy shop. From there drive South on US95 until you get to Armagosa Valley turnoff (US373). At the tUS373 turn off is a store that sells great fireworks for cheap. After you are done with the fireworks go next door to the Alien UFO store and see the prostitutes. Next head south on US95 to get back to Vegas. All the while taking photos of everything.
