It is, however, able to induce audial hallucinations that differ from diphenhydramine. I’m tired of people saying they’re the same. Do they both work as antihistamines? Yes. Is that all they do? NO. Do they have differences between them? YES. If you disagree with this, you are smooth brained and deserve a nice big double cup of fluoridated bathroom sink water.
You can induce audial perception alteration at 50mg. This effect scales to about 350mg, then the other manifestations of this Phenothiazine begin to kick in. There’s a reason you can take 350mg of promethazine and not meet the hat man and see spiders everywhere.
Also, if your tolerance is low, codeine can absolutely get you nodding into euphoric bliss. Don’t act like it’s just a buzz. Especially when you throw promethazine into the mix. And tussionex also has an antihistamine in it genius of all, it’s chlorphenamine. Used to negate nausea and itchiness. does it have the same effects as Benadryl? Of promethazine? No? So there ARE differences then? Make up your mind. I feel like you don’t even understand why some people don’t get any psychoactive effects. Morphine is morphine. Even if it’s bioavailability is low, same goes for dilaudid. Sure it’s more potent, but dosages scale to intended effects.
