The images look like a knock-off of the Drake format, but otherwise not related. Not notably precedent at least.

The delivery is 100% text, with the exception of the random, stereotypical Asian person thrown in... which might be suitable for HistoryMemes, but is a bit of a stretch here.

It mixes miserable MSPaint work and photographs, and where the punchline belongs is simply white space.

The text is not the same size, nor is it centered, nor is it aesthetically pleasing (centered, punctuated, etc).

Its quite grainy, which might give it a vintage feel but for the absolute lack of any vintage origin.

I understand that forced conversion of Asian people is significant for Asian communities, but this is an American forum and a distinctly culturally-neutral sub which, if anything, is biased toward European/Middle Eastern religions. Now, I personally find that unfortunate, but it being the case nonetheless, the message of the meme is a universal one, yet it is demonstrated through a specific and seemingly random demographic.

It just... it's a swing and a miss with all of the normal features of a successful meme. It's not meant to be any offense to the OP, but it's gotten a lot of upvotes and I just don't know why.
