#15 - Junko Enoshima

Before this post gets downvoted to oblivion, please note that- on second thought, bring it on. Just know that you all as a whole (not just one of you) brought her down here. Besides, she's already in the top half, what more do you want?
This cut came unexpectedly for me, because while I don't exactly like her, Junko Enoshima PERSONIFIES Danganronpa at its core, and I was so sure you all adored her. Then again, outside of des-bearing forever (despair, bear, geddit? No? K.), she really does have only very minor characterization (not counting any of the novels). She only appears as the final boss of both games, but when she does appear, she is a complete emotional trainwreck/diabolical mastermind, and it's flipping amazing to watch. Her VA in both the Japanese and English versions do amazing work on her, and I cannot give enough credit for just how awesome she is as a final boss, whether you are injecting hope as Makoto, or you're completely destroying her as Hajime, who's stopped playing her little game. She's just great because she's the complete opposite of what you think of when imagining final bosses; she's not strong or overly serious, and is incredibly flippant and has no clear defined personality.
But she's a despicable person at heart, and is able to do such heinous acts just to get perverse pleasure from it. Her ambitions and powers are unrealistic, but who cares, we've already seen so much weirder. It works, and Junko exemplifies that in just how strange and bizarre she is, and yet still manages to work. I feel like there should be a lot more to say on her, but again the whole only appearing for 4 hours of about 100 is hurting her at this point.
Now, normally, I don't comment on the poll much. But in this case, I need to bring up something that explains why she's here. Junko ties with Nagito and Hajime as having garnered the fifth-highest number of 10s in the poll, behind Ibuki, Gundam, Chihiro and Chiaki in no particular order, but she also received the third-highest number of 0s. Odd case, but I guess not everyone likes Junko, especially since, along with everything described earlier, she's... Also kind of a bitch.
Yeah, I got nothing. I honestly cannot do Junko enough justice by making a write-up on her, so I turn it over to you. Teach me, sempais.
