As i've said before and will 101% say again, as sad as Kuzupeko's situation was, the real tragedy of 2-2 wasn't their easily preventable downfall(they had a choice, they made the wrong choice and Monokuma did to them what they did to Mahiru and Hiyoko) but Mahiru's, the second that game came out she had a target on her back, Monokuma turned her into the prey of an arrogant angry selfish little prick and an assassin who did genuinely care about her but was still willing to sacrifice her without a second thought. Even if both were genuinely sorry after, it was much too late. She didn't deserve it andi'm glad she got a second chance with hope arc
