Unfortunately, following your post, the admins at Chaturbate have been in direct contact to complain that advertising of your cam room has been made on this TotallyStraight sub without their knowledge, approval or consent. They've clearly stated and quoted their T&C's. They usually charge for any external advertising of their Cam rooms. They are not happy that you have gone ahead and tried to advertise free of charge. They are saying you have breached their private policy. Its no biggie to me, but I think it's upset them. Sorry. Man. What was you trying to achieve?
I have defended your corner and argued that this sub does not condone the posting of original content, as per rule three - NO SELFIES No images/videos/gifs of yourself. I have explained that this is probably a human error because you have not only broken one of our rules but also and attempted to gain free advertising of your cam room out of Chaturbate. You wouldnt be that stupid as to peeve two big internation sites. This is a mistake, isn't it?
Anyway. They are not happy with the situation. They have used their sharp tongue on us. I have defended you but really didn't know what was going on. I hadn't got the facts.
Can you, ASAP, message the admins over at Chaturbate and just explain the situation. Explain it was a mistake, please. I'm sure they will be Ok. They are quoting copyright and all kinds of lawyers terminology. I could really do without the hassle of this, to be honest.
If you are upfront and apologetic, I'm sure they will calm down. Maybe just stick to advertising your cam room in places you are familiar with. It is a bit silly to be advertising your cam room in a completely different site. You've left your Chaturbate mark all over Reddit now. Its a bit dangerous unless you know what you are doing.
I have been over to the cam site, but the young_boy19 ID doesn't seem to exist. So I couldn't mail you there. We can sort that out later though. It is def, Chaturbate isn't it, and not Cam4?? It must be Chaturbate because they are the ones kicking up a stinking fuss with us.
It doesn't matter though. stay calm. Message the Chaturbate admins and just wait for them to respond. Don't do anything until they respond. You don't want to make it worse. Be patient and wait.
Please let me know when you've messaged them. At least then I am prepared if they get in touch with us again. Don't worry - I will have your back on this. I think the very worse that can happen is that they sue Reddit and yourself for falsely using a free site to advertise your cam room, with a view to gaining financial rewards. I'm not sure whether that is fraud, withholding information for the benefit of monetary gain, intentional contractual misuse, or just simple naivety. Either way, just play innocent, claim stupidity and cry a bit. It's good that this sub is 18+ and that they are an adult website. We can work through the guidelines.
I hope it goes ok. If you are really apologetic, they will give you a slapped wrist and some free tokens. Good luck. And please be careful in the future.
Oh and loads of Redditors have been messaging to say that they can't get in your room. Do NOT panic though. They have not banned you. I think it may be because you have misspelt the website in your post. Its 'ChaturBAte' and not 'ChaturABte'. Probably a good thing though as its halted traffic from here to you. If Redditors had got into your room, I think the admins over there would have been seriously pissed. FML! They are sharp-tongued.
