[ Friend request me for free rentals. ] Lark is a great companion for low level characters. Due to her combat nature and Vocation as a Warrior, she often allows you to enjoy fights with regular mobs by while providing a significant impact against larger/more powerful enemies. This means she is a little slow about killing off mobs/groups (ex. Goblins, Bandits, etc.) but deals enormous damage to stronger enemies when lesser mobs have been cleared. I personally enjoy this as it means she won't carry you through everything but can be the deciding factor against enemies too strong for you.

She is a nearly min-maxed build with extremely high Stamina and Strength.

I recommend against letting her carry Throwblasts/Dragon's Spit as she will often favor them over using her weapon.

She is best paired with ranged Arisen such as Mage, Magick Archer, Sorcerer or Ranger.
