do people in this sub actually believe movements like BLM are relevant and useful?

I understand you want to talk about BLM right now with whatever community you are a part of, but you are really grasping at straws in trying to give it some sort of relevance to /r/short.

Because heightism is very caught up in issues of gender, those are naturally going to come up in our discussions. Users on this sub have a wide variety of opinions on these issues. Many (both male and female) would probably describe themselves as supportive of feminism in some form, but to say that opposition or skepticism toward feminism is also well represented here would be an understatement. As you well know.

Additionally, discussions of heightism are likely to bring up similar types of discrimination, like racism or sexism or what have you, to help us better understand our position by analogy (or contrast). But you are asking us to evaluate one particular movement and its effectiveness and moral status with respect to the racial issue, with no particular relevance drawn to our particular issues as short people.

Go ahead and ask, of course; I'm not the fucking /r/short police. But it has absolutely no relevance to this sub.
