Pflugerville City Council to end contract with ambulance service

I'm late to this post, but as an EMT working for Acadian I can tell you that we have not pulled 911 resources for transfer calls. There is plenty of 911 experience as well.

When you ask around the rest of ATC all you hear about is the incompetence of PFD and how no one wants to go out that way. WILCO, ATC, Hutto, everyone has horror stories of the absolute garbage care that gets called 911 response and multiple calls I've been on have had misdiagnosed STEMI in the field and twice I've run on strokes that weren't called by PFD. I have experienced scenes crews who are shit hot and good to go, but for some reason many more aren't. If the community in this town knew the quality of medics they pay, they'd be pissed, as they should be.
