Not disagreeing with your overall point but CoD Warzone is crossplay. Last episode he said that the one armed dude from the UK he plays with uses a PC so he already has crossplay enabled / his contacts saved for any platform. He also can easily afford the extra bucks to have a fully built gaming rig shipped to him or he can just have someone tech savvy like PD assemble it for him.

But I do think he was just fake awing over the pic of that gaming rig because his guest is a popular streamer and was showing off her setup (btw the GTX RT30 card isn't that hard to get as she implies) / publicizing her stream. As he later says he likes it simple; he's clearly a minimalist. Plus he probably wouldn't want to bother with any extra learning curve. Unless he really wants dual monitor setup, doubt it'd be worth his time / several thousand dollars -- judging by the small single screen he's currently using, doubt he really cares.
