It doesn't matter if they haven't debated West and Davis if they have debated people who strongly disagree with them.

If I had any doubt I know for a fact now that you are a moron

None of the people you have mentioned in your comment are leftist. The "strong disagreement" in the given context of the article was about Harris et al not discussing the ideas of, or having a conversation with the leftist intellectuals they disparage as being irrational, or regressive, or whatever other buzzword insults they use nowadays. Yet again we see that Nothing in your comment addresses this basic point.

As for the Chomsky/Harris debate, you don't know the first thing about that exchange. Harris wrote a book lying about Chomsky in 2003/4 and didn't bother to ask Chomsky whether he held those beliefs or not till 13 years later. Funnily enough, that was the book that started his career, and one of the blurbs on the back of that book is a quote by varified liar Alan Dershowitz, praising the book for tackling the views of Chomsky (or should I say misrepresented and lied about "views" of Chomsky)

if you want to have a conversation with someone, at least bother to carefully read what they're saying.
