DS EO1's harder than EOU:

what? no, untold is easily the harder game and is the hardest in the series. eo1 isn't even in the top 5 of difficulty and it's actually not that bad at all unless you're severely underlevelled or ignoring all the overpowered defensive measures. things in untold hit a lot harder and have way more complicated moves, whereas 90% of eo1 is just "single target damage", and it's one of the most easily solved games in the series.

untold is a pretty good start. has a lot of the modern qol (with the big exception being resistance tables) and it's the most "retro" game in tone and floor design without being super jank, buggy, and overly simple like the other games. it's also the hardest in the series and you can choose between standard and expery if you please. it's a pretty solid game
