[MISC] friendly reminder that DeeJ is a person as not some words on a computer screen.

From a designer's perspective, these complaints are not at all a problem. People don't like seeing gamers complain about bungie/deej. Too bad. They are complaining. They're legitimate too. It doesn't matter how loud people yell FIX HEAVY AMMO BUG. A designer's job is to look through that complaint and the real problem and find real solutions. Let me expand and what you were saying a little bit.

Gamers: FIX HEAVY AMMO BUG

Bungie: Well it's complicated. We'll try. It might take a while

Gamers: ....ok...why aren't you listening?

Overly-sensitive-bungie-supporters: Come on guys give em a break. It's going to be hard. Let them take their time and fix it.

Gamers: You dont get it. I understand the bug might be difficult to fix. The fact is heavy ammo is very difficult to fix. You have features in the game to allow us to get it but have made those features HIGHLY restrictive. The glimmer costs for heavy ammo have not changed sicne launch, while glimmer income and other necessary glimmer expenses have greatly changed. You've ADMITTED the bug and are attempting to fix it. But you've missed what we're saying here.

Game Designer: It seems to me, what you're complaining about is a user/gamer experience problem. Is that right?

Gamer: Yes. I realize problems exist. But come on. Why isn't Xur selling heavy ammo synths? That feature exists bug hasn't been around much since Bungie even acknowledged the bug.

Designer: Ok. So while our awesome programmers get to working on the bug, we'll make up for the annoying-as-hell gameplay experience by doing

1- Guarantee Xur sells heavy ammo synths.

2- Lower glimmer costs of heavy ammo

3- Look into other great player ideas like consuming synths via long reload button hold

Gamer: Sounds great. Thanks for trying keep your awesome game great.

Oh wait. That didn't happen. This hasn't happened, on a number of levels. Gamers have been introducing incredible ideas since day 1 and not many of these things caught wind at Bungie. I'm not talking about huge ideas, but tiny ones. Come on, look at the bounties we get every single day. Clearly, the gamer experience hasn't been considered here. There's no way even Bungie designers aren't getting bored of their game.

Oh that's right, Bungie has been trying to higher new designers and management for a few months now isn't that right? If you're lacking in supporting you game, say it.
