This is the craziest thing that happened to me, and it's a bit difficult to believe.
My house has an outhouse (outdoor shed with a toilet in it) and I always smoke there - it's good for hotboxing.
Anyway, I was out there one night smoking a majestic joint listening to music, and I noticed that I could see some light shining around my garden. I took my headphones out and I heard someone jump over my garden wall and start walking around the courtyard.
I was absolutely shitting myself, thinking that it was a burglar or something, so I crouched down under the window (was still smoking the joint) and just sat there for a few minutes in silence.
Then I heard the mysterious figure say something like "Yeah, I'm in the garden now, I can't see anyone but I can smell cannabis" then heard a radio talk back to him.
Fuck. Its the police. I was absolutely terrified at this point, so I quickly threw the joint in the toilet, flushed, and walked out into the garden.
As I walked out, I was blinded by the officer's torch. I began to walk slowly towards him and said something like "hey man what's going on?" "Don't move!" He shouted. I jolted to a halt and just stood there with my hands in the air. He came over and asked me who I was and why I was out here.
I explained that I was taking a piss in the outhouse because my brother was in the shower inside. Obviously this was bullshit, but I wasn't going to tell him what I was actually doing.
"Okay, well I'm going to have to ask you to get back inside, we're looking for someone - not you though. Please just stay inside and lock your doors and windows"
I was relieved at this point, I thought I'd gotten away with it. So I started to walk towards the house.
"You weren't smoking weed in there were you?" I heard from over my shoulder.
Once again, I was instilled with fear.
"Uhhh, yeah, I was" I didn't know what else to say.
He stared at me for a few seconds, I could tell that his mind was ticking away, probably deciding what to do with me.
"Alright son, you're free to go"
And that was the end of it. I never heard anything else about it. I was expecting him to maybe come back a few days later and give me a slip, but he didn't.
And that's my story.
