Round 6 Results

Just wanted to try something, didn't work out, so whatever...

Pod 2

My deck: Black Lotus//Black Lotus//Assemble the Legion

Just to get these out of the way:

Arreeyem, mopplow, and XScorpion: Black Lotus//Leyline of Anticipation//Thalia (LL x3, 0)

The Flash-Thalia decks are apparently the new fun police, as there is not much you can do once Thalia comes down.

bloodbeardthepirate: Black Lotus//Wheel of Fortune//Memnite (WL, 3)

Looks like we got a new sorcery speed discard card going around...

Double012: Black Lotus//Black Lotus//Grave Titan (LL, 3)

Looks like this deck took my plan and made it better, as Grave Titan outraces Assemble earlier on.

FrankLaPouf: Mishra's Workshop//Phyrexian Revoker//Ensnaring Bridge (DL, 4)

The bridge means that I can't attack once Revoker's on the board, although on the play, I still get assemble down and can block revoker all day. On the draw, Revoker blanks my lotuses, so I can't do anything.

SheffiTB: Chancellor of the Forge//Force of Will//Snapback (LL, 4)

Classic FoW deck with a win condition available, self explanatory.

Velodra: Back Lotus//Liliana of the Veil//Nether Spirit (WL, 7)

Sorcery speed discard.

vladicuss: Helix Pinnacle//Rushwood Grove//Dismember (WW, 13)

Rushwood Grove/Helix Pinnacle is way too slow.

Woefinder: Black Lotus//Show and tell//Form of the Dragon (LL, 13)

"Creatures without flying can't attack you."

Total score: 13/60

Again, I just wanted to try something, and it didn't work as well as I had hoped.

Suggested ban: Leyline of Anticipation

Being able flash in your answer before your opponent has a chance to play a threat is not fun. Thalia on her own is not as much of an issue as she is still a creature that would normally be cast at sorcery speed, and can still be beat on the play.
