Season 4 Casey/Izzie storyline as a response to the fan base

Funny how your ilk are so quick to jump to the homophobia conclusion the moment someone expresses distaste for izzy and casey. We get that they're just kids but what you fail to understand is that adults are entitled to their mistakes as well. I find it odd how you make Doug to be this terrible person with bad intentions when most of his negative behaviors stem from a combination of ignorance, stress, and being a blue collar boomer who wasn't raised in the PC society we live in today. Unfortunately, raising kids is a learn as you go process for a lot of parents. Idk what kind of privileged family you come from but there's a lot of us who have dads that never threw the ball or showed any interest in us that would've loved to have a dad as affectionate and engaging as Doug.

I get that you're probably young and come from a much different background than myself, but imo Doug was a solid dude albeit overbearing who was remorseful of his mistakes and did a great job of providing the family the love and care that many of us never had growing up
