Appearance -(good reference http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/11111/111117625/3077554-1316367963-Yamam.jpg) Kinshiro is tall, slender but with some muscles to show,very short spiked hair and light brown eyes, his shihakusho is sleeveless, but aside from that its completely normal, the captain haori is long sleeved, more tight to the body, with a high colar with gold edges going trough the colar to the bottom of the haori.
Zampaktou: in unreleased state takes the form of a normal katana with a handle wraped in black fabric with dark gold shark skin underneath, the guard is black and circular, with a gold edge, and four holes (top, bottom and sides) all of them with a gold edge to them aswell, theres also a golden ring going trough the end of the handle. The zampaktou spirits take the form of two enteties, one resembling an old king with golden damaged armour representing Kinshiro´s biggest defect, Greed, the second spirit takes the form of a black flame crow with golden eyes representing the corruption of ones soul.
Shikai: Corrupt …Kogane no noroi (黄金の呪い, Golden Curse) When shikai is activated the golden ring on the end of the katana melts and melds itself into the blade turning it completely gold. In this form the abilities are simple, anything the blade cuts or damages becomes covered in gold, if it was to make a cut in an arm the immidiate afected area would become covered in a coating of gold, the more damage the area recieves the thicker the coating becomes (this coating can be removed if the enemy is strong enough but it still very hard to do so), slowly immobilizing the enemys movements by how heavy gold can become, same thing applies if it damages a sword or any other weapon. In shikai the first spirit is more dominant, but the second spirit lets the user use some of its abilities too, when this is the case, only the tip of the blade becomes engulfed in black fire.
Norowareta-ō katto (呪われた王カット, cursed king cut) – when using this ability Kinshiro spins with the blade, cutting anything sorounding him and consequently covering it in gold, in result all of the gold in the blade is “spilled” in the process and the user cant use shikai or bankai abilities for a period of time good to imobilize groups of enemys so that he can quicly take them out after.
Shin'en katto (深淵カット, abyss cut) – this attack can only be used when taping into the second spirit´s abilities, Kinshiro makes a cut in the air, this causes a thin tear from where soon after black flames shoot out agressively, engulfing anything in their path, these flames do not burn, but they do cause extreme pain, more than even normal fire, and they are much harder to extinguish, but not impossible, theflames while “burning” something or someone absorv reiatsu until they are extinguished.
Bankai: Shin'en no ō (深淵の王, King of the abyss) Kinshiro rarely uses bankai, as he dislikes it quite a bit since it reminds him too much of his “darker” side,but recognizes that sometimes he does need to use it, when bankai is activated black flames sorround him and take part of the radical tranformation his skin turns completely black only toe and hand nails turn gold, haori then tranforms into more of a closed thick trenchcoat with a hood, the edges of the hood,sleeves and bottom of coat are fuzzy material, dark gold aswell, with intricate golden buttons closing the coat, his hair grows longer up to the shoulders his eyes turn black with golden iris, and finally his whole head becomes covered by a black mask resembling a lot like a hollow with gold teeth and long gold horns curving upwards, to finalize the “tranformation” a golden crown materializes, floating above his head.
Sword remains unchanged, only becomes engulfed in black flames now.
In this form the second spirit is the dominant one, and this gives him the ability to control the flames at will with his sword, the flames now can also be used as a shield as they are abble to absorb any energy based attacks , he is also abble now to meterialize melted gold from his hands wich can be controlled into any shape and turned solid at will for offensive porpuses, speed and physical strenght are also slightly increased.
Kogane no keimusho (黄金の刑務所, Golden Prison) - Kinshiro creates a big wave of melted gold and sorrounds the enemy/s forming a giant sphere, he then solidifies it and activates the flames inside, the porpuse is to kill the enemy by “sucking” them dry of reiatsu while providing them with no escape, this attack consumes a loto f reiatsu so kinshiro is limited on using once or twice while on bankai, plus the gold sphere while bieng very thick can be destroyed by a strong enough enemy
Shin'en umi (深淵海, Abyss ocean) - kinshiro raises his sword into the air and a giant fire wave forms behind him, he then brings the sword down and the wave falls hitting everything in its path, this is used more to take a big number of weak enemys more than strong single ones.
Norowareta tatchi (呪われたタッチ, cursed touch) - Kinshiro commands for all flames to be extinguished even the ones on the blade, he then proceeds to use shuunpo to jump into the enemy and Pierces them in the heart, if it works and kills the enemy he then becomes covered in gold tranforming i tinto a golden statue (this move is only used after the enemy has been immobilized by some kind of kidou/bakudo or with gold itself).
*While in bankai Kinshiro´s attacks tend to be generally slow, this is another of the reasons for him avoiding using it, when fighting faster opponents e relies more on his wits and zanjutsu and hakuda skills or doesnt even bother to go bankai in the first place, wich makes him more comfortable.
Hado/Bakudo proficiency : Kinshiro rarely uses any offensive kidou/bakudo as he relies more on his zanjutso and hakuda skills to do the job, he specializes instead on spells that have some sort of immobilization effect.
Personality : while most zampaktous materialize themselves representing ones personality and most dominant aspects of their character, Kinshiro zampaktou takes the form of his darker side and his biggest most hidden defects, in result of this unique realtionship he has become a very introspective person, always aspiring to become better as a person , but always aware that his defects are also part of him and should not be ignored, hes also usually very quiet reserved and extremely calm person who avoids conflict as much as possible, rarely talks, and when he does its usually to make funny one liners (his squad debates a lot on how funny these can actually be) Hes EXTREMELY loyal to his squad, and to the ones he considers close, hes also extremely sloppy and is constantly falling and breaking thing around him.
Backstory: not much is known about Kinshiro past only that he avoids talking about it like the plague and that he joined the shinigami academy 120 years ago, after graduating he became a member of the tenth squad and thats where he stayed going up the ranks as he got better and better, until he was a Lieutenant there, thats where he acquired bankai , Kinshiro was never satisfied so he tried to become a captain for the 2nd squad for at the time there was noone taking the spot, at the time his bankai was imperfect it needed a lot of work and lacked control, but just for the sheer potential of it ando f kinshiro himself they accepted him, since then he has grwon older and wiser just like they all predicted and is believed by many to have the best understanding of his zampaktou and himself than anyone else in soul society.
