Tips on building confidence?

I’m not sure I ageee that cute leg hair doesn’t exist. I had a bf for years who loved my leg hair and did say it was bc it was cute. He wasn’t a liar either. And I think it is too..So there’s at least one man and one woman on this earth who thinks it is. To change the ideas of society, it takes the first people to have a new ideal or question the old ones. Then to be free enough, brave enough to just do what they believe. Otherwise, look back at old photos or artwork. Had no women wanted it different, we’d still be wearing long gowns to swim in, have bustles ( sp?) on our behinds, long dresses to cover out legs and be overweight bc those were all the “Fashion”, the norm.So ..if you think why are we doing this…Shaving all our hair off…for what, maybe you’re on the right path for YOU. I’ve not shaved since before college. I went to USC ( for rich kids mostly but I was not), and often wore shorts and hiking boots as I lived in the mountains. I got plenty of looks , and snickers, bc it’s such a posh school and back 40 years ago it definitely wasn’t seen except in San Francisco and Berkeley. There the young ppl were progressive and showed the way for me to question societies “ norms” for women. The friends I did make were not the prissy judgmental ones which I wouldn’t have liked in the long run anyways. I have no regrets, but being part of the “in crowd” of women was never that important . Your comment is so much more to the point in deciding what your values are.
