Okay, that's what seals the deal for me.

I could almost empathize with Chuck - I wanted to, actually. I know what it feels like when your younger sibling is so effortlessly successful and likable while you have to work your ass off for every damn thing in your life. My sister is a bit like Jimmy that way. (...She's also a sadistic narcissist, though, and she's done nothing but hurt me for as long as I can remember, so I feel like my resentment is justified whereas Chuck's is not.)

Anyway. Jimmy... Jimmy's somethin else, isn't he? He loves his brother absolutely and unconditionally. Chuck can treat him like a worthless fuckup and do everything in his power to keep him from being successful (out of sheer spite!!!) but at the end of the day you know Jimmy will still be there for him, ready to drop everything at a moment's notice to make sure his big brother is alright.

Chuck doesn't know how lucky he is.

I hope he gets over himself.
