Honestly, Bridget’s testimony is extremely bizarre to me. Allegedly, the body of Abby was clearly visible to anyone on the second floor or even on the stairs, which was notable in Bridget’s testimony that Lizzie was at the top of the stairs when Andrew returned home (despite not actually seeing her). Based on the layout of the house, Bridget would’ve had to walk directly past the room where Abby lay dead and somehow not see what was described as “clearly visible” to reach her third floor bedroom, where she was when Lizzie said Andrew had been killed. Bridget is also the only person to place Lizzie in the house at the time of Andrew’s murder, while 2 others saw her leaving the barn 5 minutes after Bridget supposedly left both of them downstairs and 3 minutes after time of death.
