Why do you view the potential of life as something so special?

I'm sorry for the strawman,

then do not make them

We cut life support on brain dead people or comatose people all the time when it is no longer convenient for us to support them.

Cessation of treatment is different from murder

So therefor, a fetus is the same as a brain dead person.

The permanent cessation of certain functions is not the same as said functions not having yet developed

But seriously, so if the only reason you think we should not abort is because we are murdering a potential life, why do you think a potential life is so special

Human life is special. That is the premise. The fetus is not a potential life, it is a human life
