Personally, I'll support Rose's decision 100%, no matter what. And I'm impatient to hear Rose's new solo, as much as anyone else.

But from a business standpoint, this is a terrible strategy. One of the main reasons you anticipate a song, is the mystery of what it's gonna sound like, and what it's gonna be about.

There will be so many third party lyric videos and reaction videos of her live performance, that'll get uploaded the second the concert is over... a significant portion of the views/streams of her yet-to-be-released MV will get hijacked.

And no, this isn't just about Blinks being obsessed about charts and numbers. You have to understand YG is a business, and the company relies on these data (views, streams, charts, trends, awards, etc) to make future decisions about the direction of their artists.

Again, I think Rose is just really pure hearted to a fault, and that's why we love her, and I'm here for it, but I wish she would wait to treat us to her live performance until the official MV drops. But only if it is her ultimate decision. If YG overrules her, Blinks will start bashing YG and trending hashtag #cancelYG #boycottTheShow #freeRose #JusticeForRose etc etc
