its less to do with records or achievements because overall we did really good. The 28th brought to light the nastiest parts of our fandoms where there was so much infighting and many blinks felt like their experience was soured. The main China bars for Jisoo, Jennie, and Rosé expressed that they didnt want to support the song and that fueled solo stans to start spewing shit and causing drama. Two of the bars threatened they wouldnt support future group releases and and wanted to pull funds out of the album. Blinks were upset that the fanbases were starting drama on release day and causing the problem to grow bigger. Eventually, many solo stans began to shit on Lisa and filled her ig comments telling her to die and other really, really gross things. She’s the only one who hasnt posted anything on her ig about the release. The song also got a lot of hate outside of the fandom to where Tommy made a post on his story and Bekuh Boom retaliated after being accused of disrespecting religion in the lyrics. Blinks felt bad that the drama and negativity most likely reached the girls. So I dont think its just about views because we reached our goals anyways, i think the blinks just want to redo that day to enjoy it and just focus on spreading love to the girls as a united group, something they felt like they couldnt with all the chaos that happend on the 28th.
