It all depends on how long the current bull market lasts.

In Europe, the second hand market is quite insane and cards are going for 10-25%++ over store prices (that are already insane, ~600-750€ for 3060, ~1000-1250€ for 3070, ~1650-1800€ for 3080 when it's rarely available, ~2800-3150€ for 3090).

For people who bought cards early (or managed to get some lucky deals), simply selling for 150-750€++ can be more profitable than mining, if expecting mining profits to decline / cease due to summer / eip1559 / market turning bearish.

Especially if you've been already mining for some time.

Granted, the question is... What if if the boom/shortages don't end? What if in 3 months or 6 months, 3070 is 2000€, 3080 is 3000€ and 3090 is 4000€?
You could mine until then and cash out even more...

Alas, I don't have a crystal ball.
