The problem isn’t that there are bugs at all, it’s that it appears that most of these issues are caused by the same thing: Distributed Denial of Service, albeit not necessarily intentional DDoS. in other words bots trying to do something such as be the first ones to buy an NFT. So it feels like the same bug over and over and they just can’t get it right. It also tends to hit at the worst times, like on a day when all crypto is dumping hard, and so Solana dumps twice as hard. People can’t sell because the network is down so they get liquidated which makes the selling pressure harder. (No this hasn’t happened to me)

On the other hand, if they can build a system that brushes off denial of service attacks, they will have build a very robust system.
