As you eem to be using anecdotes fueled by some pretty obvious prejudice I guess I'm permitted to do the same. I just moved to Toronto from Montreal. I am born and raised in Montreal and have never experienced any inordinate amount of rudeness. By contrast, I've only lived here for 3 weeks and have already gotten repeatedly harassed on the road for driving a Quebec licensed car, have met possibly the most greedy and foul slum lords while looking for an apartment, and have abandoned a beautiful city where 600 dollars a month can get me a nice apartment downtown, to a city where I'm paying 1500 dollars a month to live in a moist basement surrounded by tasteless and dilapidated architecture reminiscent of a bankrupt Detroit. You can keep your precious city.
