Bug Fables is a fantastic game that deserves to be praised, but it seems like some people who praise it aren’t doing so with the best intentions. Rather than praising it because it deserves its praise, I’ve seen many people praising it to bring down the non-RPG Paper Mario games. Should it be recommended to people who want something like the classic Paper Mario games? Absolutely! But it doesn’t need to be constantly brought up in every discussion about The Origami King as sort of an “anti-TOK”. That just makes it seem like there’s only an audience for Bug Fables because of Paper Mario not being an RPG anymore, which isn’t fair to Bug Fables.
