Should work as they still "just" connect via Bluetooth and every single bluetooth device I own can be connected to each other, regardless of how old they are.

Some of them, of course, have no or only limited functionality because they don't use the same Bluetooth version. But all the devices show up.

My (1st gen) AirPods also worked on my old (according to Apple) not compatible 2009 MacBook Pro with most features. There were occasional hiccups when switching between devices but most features worked okay most of the time.

My guess is that the AirPods Pro will work but with some limits on functionality and might have occasional troubles with connecting/disconnecting.
