Alpha Reactions.

It was a stress test on servers so it was hit pretty hard. Kept lagging which made killing mobs really hard and constant crashes when trying to load a new map made it really aggravating and hard to test anything.

For gameplay I agree with everyone else you can see the p2w aspect pretty clearly or some would say pay to "advance" quicker. There is no character level system so everything is done by gaining skill points from killing mobs which you need a lot of which isn't bad until you see how you need A LOT of resources and invest time into upgrading your buildings to unlock new skills, gear, and passives.

The time it requires to do all time is absurd imo which is why right now people would be tempted to buy boosters or bypass the wait for it. And from their blog talking about how people with no time for games have that choice and furthers reinforces my opinion on their pay model. I believe I heard that the devs were planning to adjust them in discord because its pretty bad but we'll have to wait and see.

Overall, if you liked TL2 gameplay its still there just hope to see if the other classes are fun but since its online we wont be seeing mods which made the game better. As of right its not the best of impressions but granted still in alpha so still hopeful.
