I know what you are trying to say, because I’m pitch perfect, but in all honesty, with the exception that sometimes a piece of music being played in an unusual scale sounds more interesting, something that is detuned out won’t make much of a difference.

His work is very beautiful, I particularly loved the Oblivion soundtrack. His scores are very ethereal and dreamy. His use of flutes and certain instruments add a very wistful feel to his compositions.

Other music that is detuned - Aphex Twin “Selected Ambient Works Vol 2” has s lot of micro tuning in it. I know this is one of Richard James’ interests, he did an interview with Korg about it.
