Anyone work for thermo fisher?

Former lab tech turned BMET. Knowing lab equipment inside and out really accelerated my career in the beginning stages becoming a BMET. You will hit a ceiling rather quickly if it's just turning wrenches on Thermo Fisher's lab supply stuff though. Centrifuges, scales, and rockers are not complex instruments. Use this position as a springboard into working as an FSE for a large lab analyzer company like Beckman, Abbott, Siemens, Ortho, Roche, or Sysmex. Those guys make decent salaries, and get car gas, insurance paid. Plus there's mobility from those positions into senior roles, installation specialists, work from home, applications, and more.
