I just did this. I have two Aliens in a wired mesh configuration (3rd Floor + Ground Floor). I recently added a Ubiquiti Nanostation M2 wired to the Alien and mounted on the roof facing the pool/1 acre vineyard area. I set the nanostation to bridge mode in its airOS. It requires a POE adapter which it comes with that plugs into a power outlet. Seems to work good so far. The M2 has the same SSID as the Alien and it seems to switch well. I'm having a hard time telling if I'm connected to the Alien or the M2 for speedtest purposes when I'm outside but I feel like I must be on the M2 since I'm pretty far from the Alien units when I'm out of the house. When I am in the house I know I'm connected to the alien and I don't see any major speed hits. The speedtest that I run on a browser registers nearly the same as the Alien internal speedtest when I'm standing right next to it. Hope this helps.
