dang 15 to 20 for a single month to get mods? I lost interest int he betehsda games after cc started pushing updates all the time making it annoying to have to wait for days to start playing after script extender and mod updates at bethesda's whim to pop another mtx into the games so I haven't played them outside the steam enderal separate install for a long time now. I had steam set to not update but it always did it anyways and starting an update screwed things up even clearing the cache so that the games wouldn't work in offline for me any longer so I uninstalled them lol.

I thought about coming back recently just to play the vr versions after a recent steam sale and I see that if I wanted to grab a bunch of plugins, say optionals like compatibility patches off of a page I can't simply click them down a line and keep mental track of which I was at any longer. I have to do a few extra clicks per single download whether it is in the same tab or a queue z dozen tabs on the side and ready them all up in a long line and then close the tabs to move on tot he next mod. annoying as heck and I think I'll steer clear of tes 6 now between bethesda's recent changes in practices and this annoyance. I'll deal with it for the basics for the vr mods since it's not like I plan to load up the vr versions with a huge load order for obvious reasons, but after that I think I couldn't care less about mods in games any more. That's also remembering a lot of the attitudes and ragequits taking their toys as they left going on years ago that probably haven't stopped, too much of a hassle imo. Once donald gets elected again this year, be prepared for a few more modders to suddenly delete mods your load order depends on again lmao.
