A disease ravaged his family’s farm, killing all the livestock and eventually his family, Dacklin was spared by some act of god and the sickness only wasted away his body. Having no other choices he managed to join the Imperial military, while not physically impressive his marksmanship was unmatched and he was given a spot in the Queens Eye, a scouting unit. Whilst severing he gained a mentor, Glenn, Glenn groomed him for scouting, teaching him all the tricks a good scout needed to stay alive in a combat zone kilometres away from friendly forces. After a few years mentor and mentee became close friends, who worked as an unparalleled scouting duo, Glenn shared more than just his military skills, he also recruited Dacklin to his cause , Glenn was a spy for a origination back in the Capital and worked for a man named Daud. Glenn’s mission was to move up through the ranks, gaining honor and esteem to one day retire from the military and have a position in high society where he would have clout to farther the cause.

Unfortunately for Glenn, one winter he caught dysentery and perished from it, leaving Dacklin with instructions to make his way to Dunwall when he could and meet with the organisation. Another two years later Dacklin found himself in Dunwall, standing in an old building in a district that was mostly flooded and deserted. With orders to embed himself in the City Watch, Dacklin quietly made his way once again surrounded by enemies who think he is a friend.
