Welcome. I am going to be your host for these awards. I am everybody’s favourite teacher, Magical Girl Usami Monomi.
And, I’m everybody’s favourite captor/headmaster, Monokuma. I’m going to be your co-host. So, I’ll get just as much screen time while doing much less work.
We’ve been doing these trials for a while. We’ve reached over a hundred subscribers and ten trials. So, I think it would be lovely to award some of the excellent work that everybody here has been doing.
And I think it would be lovely to see the despair of everybody who loses.
So… we’re here to begin the very first Danganreddit Awards! Here are our categories!
Which trial was your favourite? Which one had the thrills, the chills, the kills?
Even the meanest, nastiest jerks deserve appreciation. Who did the best job as my stupid big brother? Who prepared the best trial and who stayed in character the best?
And I suppose we can give an award to our Monomis too, as worthless as they may be. Who came the closest to being somewhat helpful with their summary pages? Who somehow managed to endure being in character the longest?
What was the biggest surprise in our trial? Which amazing twist got to you the most?
Which of our despairful Blackeneds had the best murder plot? Surely we all need to award some of our evil geniuses.

Upupupu… Just because somebody’s dead, doesn’t mean we all can’t have a little fun! What was the funniest scene in our trials?
Which moment filled you all with the most hope? What was the happiest, most heartwarming moment to have taken place in our trial?
Which moment filled you all with the most DESPAIR? Bwuhahaha… What scene just made you want to curl up and die?
Love, love. Let’s give a Lovey Dovey Cutesy Wutesy Adorable Award of Love and Snuggles to whichever couple you found to be the sweetest?
Hate, hate. Let’s give an award to show off our hate for one another. Which characters had the fiercest rivalry? The best back-and-forth? The most enjoyable thinly-veiled desire to tear the other to pieces? These rivalries don’t need to be between just two people. After all, hate is such a beautiful emotion that we all need to share it with as many people as we can.
Best Friends Forever!!! What is the best friendship to have popped up out of these trials? Again, this award can be given to friendships that made up more than just two people. Friendship is meant to be shared!
Which of our dastardly murderers was the best? The most devious? The most entertaining?
Alright. This is a special one. Which Redditor has pulled off the best character portrayal? Who has stayed in character the best? Entertained you the most? For this award, we’ll be accepting more nominees than the other categories. And, we’ll be nominating based on the user, so characters who’ve been portrayed by the same players multiple times may have all of the trials they’ve been in considered.
What the hell is this award supposed to be?
It’s kind of like a Life Time Achievement award. It’s a gift to marvelous players who have made this community so great.
