r/russian has a nice wiki for this question.

I haven't really started the process seriously yet myself, but I'm currently using Duolingo and Memrise to learn the alphabet and pronunciation. The latter has several native speakers saying the words and phrases you are learning, which is nice. I also frequently use forvo.com, wiktionary and youtube to help me better understand pronunciation (learning to understand the relevant IPA for russian can b very smart, I think).

Later I plan on using the books Colloquial Russian 1 and 2 (they have accompanying audio 1 2)

Also consider trying out some classes at Italki, the Russian ones are usually rather cheap.
