Concerns About Switching ISPs

None of their figures make sense. Worse still is when they lied and said "It's not a change in plan, just a change in technology." then in the fine print knock you down to 20 mbps. I'm paying through the nose for 250 mbps and I'm getting the exact same speed I was getting before HFC swap over was forced on me (120). The worst part is they all have stupid package names, rather than just having straight numbers.

Telstra are difficult because their app's tech support are useless, and their linesmen don't seem to attend premises. One I had a problem at I found ten years worth of grass growing in the box outside the house they'd claimed to have checked many, many times. Proving they hadn't although they got paid to.

It's all just so frustrating, worst of all is most kids in other countries on a $20 p/m plan have higher speeds than we can get here.
