Oh my. I am sorry. You are really trying to manage a lot of things right now.

I don’t know what pension she has, but my state pension has survivors benefits for a spouse, and if she has a work provided life insurance policy, you would get that too. I recommend you contact both the HR department at her work (because she was still employed) and whoever manages the pension. They will help you.

I am sure you have a lot of other things to deal with now. If you have adult children who can help, that might lessen your burden too.
