Destiny is banned from PUBG

The game ruined everyone's match by being shit in the first place though.

In a way this is just like a 0-day computer vulnerability, where you have someone harmlessly exploiting a bug to draw attention to it, and there's a very fine line between that and the guy who's claiming to draw attention to a problem but is really just a piece of shit criminal spreading malware. I'm not saying Destiny's one or the other, but rather that with this he tread the line, and pretty clearly decided to go over it because it was a good move as a streamer. I don't begrudge what he did, it was fucking funny.

But come on, you HAVE to ban him or else the entire next week would be a ghost car royale clusterfuck. Even then, you and I might not care about that, but this is a company with momentum and and you can't expect them to sit there while there's even a danger of their reputation or money getting fucked on.

Same thing with doc's TK ban- you have to think about the larger picture of who's ruining what exactly... different rules apply when actions are amplified through popular public figures (2017 btw). Destiny won here, pubg also won here, I'm sure they bear no ill will toward one another; maybe some nerds are crying about it. When that bug happened to me a few days ago btw, I just left the game after playing around with the mechanics a bit, assuming something like this had or would happen. Not that destiny should've, he just deserves the (completely inconsequental) ban
