Did I overreact?

Is it correct to say that statistically speaking it’s harder for the customers to get busted in an AMP police sting. From what I have read usually it’s the provider that gets busted.

That would be incorrect. It's not harder for the customer get busted, but as of late, police officers seem to only be concerned with taking down the people who run AMPs. Johns are not a priority. But it isn't because it's harder.

People in this subreddit often say "just say you were there getting a massage." First, don't: you should never speak to the police without a lawyer present (and that lawyer would tell you not to speak to police). Second: if mamasan and the masseuse both testify as to why you were there, it's your word against two people's -- on top of a police officer who will testify you were found at a known brothel.

Anyways, as I said, johns are not a huge priority right now in most places.
