The Disappearance of Nagato Yuki-Chan is a good Anime.

Ah yes. Nagato Yuki-chan. Don't get me wrong, the anime was charming and pretty cute. But it was kind of a slap in the face honestly that it wasn't a season 3 to Haruhi. Not too crazy with the art style honestly. I think I would have liked it much better if KyoAni was behind it.

I"m not sure about the situation with Haruhi-chan though. I feel like us fans appreciated that a little more than Nagato Yuki-chan because at the time of its release, we didn't know that we were going to be in a long hiatus without any new "Haruhi" content. Which is why it didn't bother us that much. With the 10th anniversary of Haruhi Suzumiya, the most we got for content was Nagato Yuki-chan, a pachinko song, a complete soundtrack, funimation releasing season 1+2, collectors edition + and that's really it. So its understandable why a lot of people were not very happy that we didn't get a season 3.

Even being that Yuki is my favorite character (of all time) even I found myself saying "meh it was okay". Like you, I'd love anything Haruhi. But for Nagato Yuki-chan, even though I enjoyed it solely because it was something new, and something mainly about Yuki, at the end of the day it honestly felt like just your typical bare-boned slice of life romance anime.
