Late to the party again, woop.

I thought Todderic was bloody kidding when I glanced at his review and said she was getting the Nossan treatment. Holy cow...and she doesn't even have Nossan's personality to match it so it just seems like she's doomed to be mediocre forever. There's even a moment during the last fight where she's randomly protected by pink...I get she may be the 'weakest' of the group, but they're REALLY pounding in that she's not useful at all for some reason.

Also, and I'm going to mention this every week, the damn henshin 'Standby' sound for this team makes me want to die. It's so terrible. Ugh. I'm also pretty annoyed with the 'Final Attack standby' sound. It'll haunt my dreams. ^{NANJA NANJA NAN-JA NANJA!}

Speaking on that front..I'm liking the sword a lot more this week. The shuriken bits are actually pretty interesting...not something I'd bother to buy, but I still think it's awesome.

As for their sidearm...that's adorable. Little frog guns that can also sense evil.

Their role call...It feels like too much is going on graphically. I know that's a bit odd to say given how ToQger had a lot as well but..it just feels more 'Meh' and such. Kyoruger was still one of my favorite calls. Nice and simple, practical effects and such.

As for the episode itself, not much new. The hot-head leader and the cool, collected blue get into a fight and resolve to get stronger to beat each other, furthering teamwork. Standard stuff.

That said, I quite like the fighting. Whoever they have suit-acting for this series is REALLY stepping things up, as the fights, both ranger and mecha are FANTASTIC. The main mecha only partly disassembling itself was a neat trick I don't remember from other series..part's swaps and full disassembly yeah, but not dropping specific parts just to attack them.

I won't lie, I had low hopes from the previews but I'm really liking this series. They keep up what they're doing and we're going to be in good shape.

Plus the crossover movie with ToQger is going to be amazing.
